When a malfunction occurs, it is usually the end of the faucet's service life and a new faucet needs to be replaced. So how to replace the kitchen sink faucet? Kitchen sink faucet replacement method:
Prepare some tools first, including a small wrench (pliers if not available), fruit knife, old towel, etc; The materials include faucet rubber gasket or small ceramic tiles.
Specific method:
1. Turn off the water gate of the house, usually next to the water meter. Some vegetable dishes may have a small tap under them, which is more convenient to use;
2. Drain the remaining water from the faucet and place an old towel next to it to prevent water from flowing around after the faucet is opened;
3. Remove the sink and dismantle the old faucet (because mine is installed in the cabinet and cannot be disassembled in the cabinet, I directly removed the sink)
4. Remove the old faucet, use a wrench to turn the large hex nut that secures the faucet under the sink to the left, and then unscrew it to remove the old faucet.
5. Replace the faucet with a new one, which is quite troublesome. Install the faucet, rubber pad, and pass through the sink in sequence, followed by the rubber pad, copper sleeve, and copper nut. The inlet pipe passes through the copper gong sleeve and is installed on the faucet. Connect two water inlet hoses to the faucet, with different lengths of the interface designed for easy installation. Install the shorter hose first and then the longer one.
